Mountain Bike Courses

Mountain biking in Scotland is some of the best in the world. Intro and advanced mountain bike skills courses and guided mountain bike rides run all year round. The downhill trails at Nevis Range are open from May to September but the trail centres and natural trails can be riden throughout the winter as well. Our select group of instructors will guide you through new skills on real, adventurous and challenging routes.

Intro Skills. An introductory mountain bike skills course will give you all you need to ride man made and natural trails with confidence and the skills to fix trail side problems with your bike. Forest trails and estate tracks in the wilderness mean you can ride all day without touching tarmac and without seeing a car. For your first off road bike rides, this is the one for you.

Advanced Skills. Having been riding for a while this course will give you the skills to flow down the trails and get the most out of your bike. To be able to enjoy the best wilderness trails in the world, some coaching can help. Can you ride the Wee Devil, voted the UK's best mountain bike trail 2009 by MBR magazine, or world cup downhill in five days?

Guided Rides. These are tough, long and demanding routes that will test the very best riders and reward them with an experience they will never forget. We'll guarantee great riding, all day routes that take you right into the heart of the hills such as the Glen Torridon Trail, Wee Devil and Tour de Ben Nevis. Put the mountain back into the biking!

Tour of Ben Nevis. The Tour of Ben Nevis involves over 100km of great riding to complete the circuit round the peak. After a warm up day we'll head off on continuous off road riding for two days with a night spent at Corrour Station House, so remote there is no road access to it. Choose between the non-technical route or the very technical route.

Wild West Biking. Five days of the best riding in Scotland (and therefore the world)! Enjoy the best of west coast biking without the strain of choosing the trail, finding the way or organising transport. We'll guarantee great riding, all day routes that take you right into the heart of the hills with the confidence of having a guide to find the way and fix any problems with your bike.
