Travel to Fort William

Fort William is located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, 100 miles north of Glasgow and 66 miles south of Inverness. Right next to Ben Nevis we are in easy reach of Glencoe, The Mamores, Aonach Mor and Beag, The Grey Corries and Creag Meagaidh.

By Road

Fort William is 2 hours north of Glasgow Airport and 2 hours south of Inverness Airport, along the scenic A82. For those travelling from the East there are several routes off the A9, which can be taken, including from Perth and Aviemore. rail travel

By Rail

There is a rail station in Fort William; daily services to and from Inverness and Fort William connect the Highlands with Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh and all other major UK cities. By Bus

A number of low cost airlines operate routes directly into Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports, from throughout the UK and Europe. Connections from these airports to Fort William can be made easily by car hire, bus or train.

The West Highland Way is an adventure in itself; linking Milngavie just outside Glasgow to Fort William - the 95 mile walk takes you from the outskirts of Scotland's largest city to the foot of its highest mountain, following the shores of its largest freshwater loch.
